Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Prepare patients for dental examinations. Supervise dental assistants in their health care functions. Prepare dental instruments and filling materials. Maintain and order supplies. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment. Educate patients concerning oral hygiene. Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant. Schedule and confirm appointments. Take and develop X-rays. Record dental procedures performed on patients. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Registration with provincial or territorial authorities. Certification by the National Dental Assisting Examining Board. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.- Location 750 W BroadwayVancouver, BCV5Z 1J1
