Reporting to the Vice-President, Corporate Security / CISO, you'll lead the execution of enterprise cybersecurity priorities while partnering with leaders across multiple lines of business to strengthen and mature our cybersecurity program.As Director, Cybersecurity Operations, you'll lead and develop a growing cybersecurity function, guide strategic initiatives, and help protect sensitive information, technology assets, and essential services within a complex and evolving environment.As a senior leader within the cybersecurity function, you'll help drive priorities across Medavie's diverse business and technology environments while partnering with leaders to enable secure, resilient, and innovative business outcomes.We're looking for a collaborative leader who combines strong cybersecurity expertise with business acumen, sound judgment, and exceptional relationship-building skills. You'll be comfortable navigating complexity, influencing decisions, and helping teams solve challenges in a practical and thoughtful way.What You'll DoLead, coach, and develop a growing cybersecurity teamDrive the execution of enterprise cybersecurity initiatives and prioritiesOversee cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, monitoring, and incident responsePartner with business and technology leaders to integrate cybersecurity into key decisions and processesTranslate cybersecurity concepts and risks into meaningful business insights for executives and stakeholdersAdvance cybersecurity capabilities across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environmentsSupport compliance with regulatory, audit, privacy, and industry security requirementsFoster a culture of security awareness, collaboration, and continuous improvementWhat You Bring10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or a related field, including 5+ years in leadership rolesProven experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teamsStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organizationExperience presenting to executives, Boards, clients, regulators, or other senior stakeholdersDemonstrated success leading complex initiatives in matrixed environmentsStrong understanding of cybersecurity operations, security engineering, incident response, and cybersecurity governanceKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST and ISOStrong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing prioritiesEnglish proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and par- Location Moncton, NB
