If you haven't been to a Duty Free before imagine lots of great products (liquor, wine, beer, fragrance, skincare, jewellery, handbags etc.) for sale at prices lower than you can find anywhere else and customers who are in a great mood because they're on vacation and love a great deal. The ideal candidate should have significant sales experience, work well independently and as part of a team, provide excellent customer service and have a great attitude. Sales departments within the store include Liquor/Wine/Beer, Fragrance/Cosmetics or Jewellery. Possibility to work in one or more of these departments is based on your product knowledge, experience and ability. Compensation varies by department. *Primary responsibilities include:* * Greet and engage customers * Educate customers on duty free allowances and the value of duty free shopping * Provide product knowledge and assist customers in making informed purchases * Demonstrate and sample products with customers * Complete daily/monthly paperwork * Assist customers in other areas of the store * Assist buyer as required * Attend product training sessions *Compensation* * Listed hourly wage is based on total compensation including potential bonuses and other incentives * Paid breaks and additional incentives available *Position Requirements:* * Must be 18+ * Familiarity with Duty Free products such as liquor, wine, beer, perfume, skincare, watches, fashion accessories etc. * Reliable transportation (public transportation is not available to HWY 405) * Able to work longer shifts (8-12 hours) * Available to work holidays, weekends and during busiest travel periods Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Store discount * Vision care Application question(s): * How will be getting to/from work (public transit is NOT available to this location)? * Are you at least 18 years old? * Are you regularly available to work during peak travel periods including holidays, weekends and summer? * Shifts are typically 8 to 10 hours.
