*Job Summary* Fortius Physiotherapy is currently in a phase of rapid growth, and enjoys a prime location between two longstanding family medicine offices in the heart of Lonsdale. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate must be registered with the College of Health Care Professionals of BC and will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in private care environments. This role focuses on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics, to enhance their recovery and improve their overall physical function. Prior experience is highly desirable. Preference may be given to candidates residing on the North Shore, as proximity to the clinic supports long-term commitment. This position is offered as a percentage-based subcontractor role, with the rate determined based on experience. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans. * Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall physical function. * Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and rehabilitation strategies. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with medical terminology standards. * Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in physiotherapy. *Qualifications* * Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. * Valid physiotherapy license or registration to practice in the BC. * Previous experience in a private practice, is highly desirable. * IMS/Dry needling and post graduate orthopedic and manual training is an asset. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Compassionate approach towards patient care with a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
