<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p> </p><p>Automotive Mechanic - General Repair & Suspension Specialist</p><p>Job Overview</p><p>We are looking for a skilled, versatile <strong>Automotive mechanic </strong> to join our team. This role is a unique hybrid: you will handle the daily bread-and-butter of general automotive diagnostics and repair, while also serving as our go-to specialist for <strong>aftermarket suspension upgrades, including leveling kits and full lift kits</strong>.</p><p>If you are an experienced mechanic who prides themselves on clean diagnostics, respects suspension geometry, and loves transforming stock trucks and SUVs into off-road-ready builds, we want to talk to you.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>General Automotive Repair</p><ul><li><p>Perform accurate digital vehicle inspections and diagnose <span class="long-word">mechanical/electrical</span> issues.</p></li><li><p>Execute routine maintenance (oil changes, fluid flushes, brake jobs, tune-ups, and belt replacements).</p></li><li><p>Diagnose and repair steering, suspension, braking, and drivetrain components (CV axles, wheel bearings, u-joints).</p></li></ul><p>Suspension & Lift Customization</p><ul><li><p>Safely install front-end leveling kits (strut spacers, torsion keys, coilovers).</p></li><li><p>Install comprehensive 3" to 6"+ suspension lift kits, including replacing knuckles, drop crossmembers, leaf springs, and control arms.</p></li><li><p>Troubleshoot post-installation issues (correcting driveshaft angles, lengthening brake lines, routing ABS wires, and correcting headlight aim).</p></li><li><p>Perform mandatory post-installation wheel alignments to ensure perfect geometry and prevent premature tire wear.</p></li></ul><p>Role Requirements & Qualifications</p><p><strong>Requirement </strong><strong>Description</strong></p><p><strong>Experience</strong>3+ years of professional automotive repair experience. Experience with aftermarket truck suspension/lifts is highly preferred.</p><p>Tools provided</p><p><strong>Certifications </strong>ASE certifications (specifically A4 Steering & Suspension and A5 Brakes) are a major plus but not required if experienced.</p><p><strong>Physical Demands </strong>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely under trucks and heavy machinery.</p></div></div>- Location Fort McMurray, ABT9H 0A1
