Annual salary reviews with potential for increases.</p><p><strong><strong>Benefits</strong></strong>: Health, dental, disability, life insurance, RRSP match</p><p><strong><strong>Location of Work</strong></strong>: This position will work out of one of three De Havilland's facilities in Calgary, Alberta located at:</p><ul><li>770 McTavish Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 7G6</li><li>7757 8th Street NE, Calgary, AB T2E 8A2</li><li>3615 34th Street NE, Calgary, AB T1Y 6Z8</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Position Summary:</strong></strong></p><p>The Aircraft Assembler will be responsible for assembly, fitting, modification, and inspection of structural components used in sub-assemblies. This role requires interpreting engineering drawings, precision measurement, use of hand and power tools, drilling, riveting, fastening, structural repairs, and maintaining quality and safety standards.</p><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Perform structural repairs/major mods installation tasks under the supervision of a licensed Structures Technician in a manufacturing production environment.</li><li>Knowledge of standard practices and structures systems, accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, system schematics, engineering orders, test documents, manufacturer's installation manuals.</li><li>Have an understanding of other aircraft systems i.e. hydraulic, flight controls and major components.</li><li>Complete structural repairs/major mods in accordance with drawings.</li><li>Repair, fabricate parts and components; fabricate per drawings and standard practices.</li><li>Perform system checks and inspections to ensure structures systems are in compliance with industry and safety standards.</li><li>Keep accurate records of all work performed and maintain inventory of tools and equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean work area and alert the leadership team of any safety concerns; take immediate action or report immediately any unsafe conditions.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring both accuracy and traceability of parts removed or installed on Aircraft.</li><li>Perform other work as assigned and willing to work shift work.</li><li>Properly utilize Structures test equipment to perform systems tests.</li><li>Properly utilize and maintain Structures hand tools to perform installations and repairs.</li><li>Safely operate ground support equipment, i.e. Power carts, lifts (when properly trained), etc. as required.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Qualifications:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>2+ years of experience in structural assembly, or aerospace manufacturing.</li><li>Completion of an Aircraft Structures program from a recognized ATO, or equivalent combination of training and relevant hands-on experience in aircraft structures.</li><li>Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings</li><li>Skilled in riveting, fastening, measuring, and structural fitting</li><li>Ability to use hand tools, pneumatic tools, torque tools, and precision instruments</li><li>Attention to detail and workmanship</li><li>Sheet metal or composite repair experience</li><li>Experience with all De Havilland Aircraft of Canada products.</li><li>ERP/MRP system experience</li><li>Ability to acquire a Transport Canada issued Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.</li><li>Ability to lift heavy objects- Location Calgary, AB
