Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Maintain inventory of equipment. Conduct research in physiotherapy. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Perform general clerical duties. Schedule and confirm appointments. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments.
