*Overview* We are seeking skilled and dedicated CCQ Painter Compagnons to join our team. This role involves working on diverse construction and restoration projects, specializing in residential, commercial, and industrial painting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand and power tools. As a CCQ Painter Compagnon, you will contribute to high-quality finishes while maintaining safety and efficiency on-site. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a reputable company committed to excellence in craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. *Duties* * Prepare surfaces through sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion * Apply paints, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other tools * Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project execution * Perform restoration work on existing structures with precision and attention to detail * Operate rigging equipment and scaffolding safely to access hard-to-reach areas * Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks * Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols * Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address project needs and updates *Qualifications* * Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or industrial painting projects * Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate application of paint systems * Skilled in residential and commercial painting techniques with attention to detail * Familiarity with rigging, carpentry, caulking, and the use of hand tools and power tools * Strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and team members effectively * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently on multiple projects * Ability to work safely at heights using scaffolding or rigging equipment * Valid certification or license related to construction or painting is a plus but not mandatory * A proactive attitude with a commitment to craftsmanship excellence Join our team as a CCQ Painter Compagnon if you are passionate about delivering exceptional results in construction and restoration projects.
