Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace mechanical system parts. Diagnose and isolate faults on engines. Discuss work with supervisor. Document your inspection and tests made on engines. Estimate repair costs. Install locks . Repair locks. Perform scheduled maintenance and service. Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment. Repair and rebuild hoisting mechanism and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts. Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance. Repair recreation vehicles. Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Area of specialization: Forklift. Hydraulic. Machinery and transportation equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding.
