Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Design dental devices. Fabricate and repair crowns, bridges or implants. Modify dental devices including full or partial dentures, orthodontic appliances, inlays, onlays, clasps and bands. Supervise technical staff. Train other dental technicians. Mould wax over dentures set-up. Finish metal framework of dentures. Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures. Polish and buff dentures. Technical expertise (dental): Waxing-up. Polishing. Area of specialization: Full dentures. Partial dentures. Crowns and bridges. Ceramic or porcelain application. Gold dies and goldwork. Chrome castings. Screening questions: Are you authorized to work in Canada?. Do you have experience working in this field?. Employment terms options: Morning. Experience: 5 years or more.
