*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our cooks and food service staff, contributing to an overall positive dining experience for our guests. *Responsibilities* * Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. * Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift. * Assist in food preparation by cleaning and cutting vegetables or other ingredients as needed. * Help maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. * Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas promptly. * Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. * Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
