*Responsibilities*
* Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
* Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
* Assist in food preparation by cleaning and cutting vegetables or other ingredients as needed.
* Help maintain kitchen cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
* Remove trash and recycling from kitchen areas promptly.
* Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
