As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams to deliver engineering solutions on time and within budget. You'll act as a central point of communication, ensuring seamless coordination among clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.The successful candidate will have the following:Educational & Experience Requirements: Post-secondary education in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in the engineering or construction sector. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in project management tools including MS Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with materials testing procedures. Experience with field and lab testing of construction materials including asphalt, concrete and aggregates.Main Duties:The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following: Support the team with scheduling, tracking, and reporting of materials testing projects. Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Grand Falls Laboratory. Review field staff reporting and distribute to clients. Keep track of project timelines, support requests, and resource allocation. Monitor project and portfolio performance indicators and coordinate invoicing. Ensure, with the assistance of the Branch Manager, that all work carried out in the laboratory is done so in a manner that is safe for all GEMTEC employees and any visitors to our laboratory. Work with management to ensure that the equipment and training required to effectively carryout laboratory work is present. Participate in the definition and implementation of various processes within a growing division. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all work performed and meet critical deadlines. Collaborate with GEMTEC personnel across Canada. Performing other related duties as required.
