A positive, kind, and patient disposition is essential when interacting and communicating with parents, students, and staff.We are seeking a flexible team member who possesses strong organizational and people skills. The ideal candidate will take initiative, assist where needed, and be a committed member of the office team.Preference will be given to candidates with a strong commitment to Catholic education, knowledge of PowerSchool and Google programs, and experience in an office setting. The position is responsible for the following areas: Greeting and welcoming guest teachers, parents, and visitors <p> Setting up PowerSchool for the start of the school year <p> Operating PowerSchool for timetable, schedule, Registration, PASI, Attendance, and Student Records <p> Receiving student registrations and maintaining accurate student demographic information in PowerSchool and PASI <p> Receiving and submitting attendance from the phone lines <p> Preparing school class size survey as outlined by Alberta Education <p> Submitting marks, corrections, evaluations, and additions to Alberta Education <p> Assisting with student recognition awards <p> Manage HourZero tasks, including accident reports, alongside the Vice Principal. <p> Create and maintain staff lists <p> Coordinate ESL intake appointments for new families <p> Book buses for school and sporting events <p> Support Finance Administrative Assistant with duties as required <p> Support teachers with office tasks as assigned by administration <p> Submit attendance, suspension, and enrollment letters to Central Office as required <p> Working closely with Principal and Vice Principal team to provide support <p> Other duties as assignedIn order to be considered for these positions, you must upload a current Resume and Cover Letter to the job posting you are applying to.The Cover Letter and Resume must be a Microsoft Word or PDF file.If you are having trouble applying to this posting, please contact Apply To Education at 1-877- 900- 5627 or info@applytoeducation.com<p>For instructions on how to create a Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools account, please click this link:<p>https://rdcrs.ca/our-division/how-to-apply- LocationRed Deer, AB
